Q. Do I have to visit Sound Idea Digital to attend a class?

A. No, the Complete Digital Marketing Course is taken entirely online, it’s done in the comfort of your own home or work environment.

Q. When did the course start?

A. The academy was launched on the 1st of July 2011, but you can start whenever you want, after completion of each module (viewing the video and doing the short assessment) the next video will become available exactly in 1 weeks’ time. (practical assignment optional).

Q. What if I skip a module/week?

A. No worries your module will still be available the next time you login. New modules will only become available after completion of the current module.

Q. What if I have no interest in a module and want to skip that module?

A. This is not possible you have to complete each module to move on to the next module.  Each module only takes a few minutes and will improve your general understanding on digital marketing.

Q. Why do we use our own websites as examples?

A. Because our clients information in confidential and we don’t have access to other companies information.  We apply all the digital marketing techniques that we cover in this course to our own websites.

Q. Why do I need to like Sound Idea DMA on Facebook?

A. Mainly for questions and answers.

Q. Why do I need to like Sound Idea DMA on Twitter?

A. Additional material will be introduced through twitter relevant articles, video clips etc.

Q. I have a friend who also wishes to enrol?

A. Entry is by invitation only; however we might consider your friend, provided he/she is not from another ad agency, PR agency or digital agency.

Q. What is the difference between digital marketing and content marketing?

A. Digital marketing refers to the creation of market material that is digitally based, in other words it is viewed on a computer, tablet or cellphone and the distribution of the material in most cases involves the internet.
Content marketing is the technique of generating quality desirable content and with that content attracting interested parties to your website, blog, Facebook page etc.

Q. Does Sound Idea digital have other courses available?

A. Digital Marketing Academy will host other marketing related courses in the future.

Q. Is this course accredited?

A. Not at the moment, but we are in the process of having the course accredited.
