Launch of the Sound Idea Digital Marketing Academy

On the 1st of July 2011 Sound Idea launched the Digital Marketing Academy. The academy offers web based training courses that can be done wherever you are, so long as you have access to a computer.  For the time being the academy consists of our introductory course, The Complete Digital Marketing Course 30 Minutes per Week, more courses will follow in the following year. The course will also only be available to all Sound Idea clients at the moment.

Each module in the course is video based and should take only 30 minutes per week to complete. Additional learning material consisting of a short self-assessment and a practical assignment is also included each week. There are 50 modules in total and should take about a year to complete. The modules are relevant to the South African context as we know that our online trends differ to those in other countries who have a wider market online.

The training we provide in this course will allow you to evaluate your company’s website, social media platforms and all other aspects of digital media in which you engage. We believe that it is essential that a marketing professional you are able to understand the potential of this fantastic new world of digital marketing.
